I’ve always wondered how an automatic movement watch actually works.It’s pretty amazing that solely by moving your arm that the watch will wind itself and never need a battery.

I agree with your “con”, many people do not realize the advantages of automatics and the passion behind these movements. Quartz will always win the day in regards to accuracy.
I bought my Aquaracer automatic because of its elegance. And yes, I have to adjust the time at least once a month. But hey, the most expensive watches in the world are either automatic or …..(yes). mannually winded.
